India’s women’s cricket squad for the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia has seen a few new faces and returns on Saturday. Wicketkeeper G Kamalini and left-arm spinner Vaishnavi Sharma earned their maiden ODI call-ups, while Kashvee Gautam also joins the 15-member ODI squad. On the other hand, off-spinner Shreyanka Patil and batter Bharti Fulmali returned to the T20I squad, replacing Harleen Deol, who has been dropped, along with Arundhati Reddy and Radha Yadav.                        

Both squads will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain. The tour will consist of three T20Is on February 15 (SCG), February 19 (Manuka Oval), and February 21 (Adelaide Oval), followed by three ODIs on February 24 (ABF, Brisbane), February 27 (Bellerive Oval, Hobart), and March 1 (Bellerive Oval, Hobart). A one-off Test match is scheduled from March 6 to 9 in Perth, with the squad to be announced later by BCCI.

India’s T20I squad includes notable names such as Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodrigues, and the newly included G Kamalini and Shreyanka Patil. The ODI squad similarly features key players with the addition of G Kamalini, Vaishnavi Sharma, and Kashvee Gautam. These selections aim to balance experience with fresh talent as India prepares for a challenging series Down Under.
