Rubin Hermann and Dan Lawrence starred as Paarl Royals secured a dramatic six-wicket win over Durban's Super Giants, lifting them to second on the points table. Chasing 187 on a challenging pitch, Hermann and Lawrence shared a 106-run partnership off 61 balls to swing the momentum in Royals' favour, marking the highest successful chase at the venue this season.                                                

Durban's Super Giants posted 186/5 after being sent in to bat. Captain Aiden Markram anchored the innings with 66 off 46 balls, supported by David Bedingham, while Heinrich Klaasen and Liam Livingstone provided a late surge, lifting the total to a season-high at the ground. Spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman took 2-22, highlighting the Royals' bowling efforts.

Royals lost early wickets but Hermann counterattacked with a six off Simon Harmer and, along with Lawrence, rebuilt the innings. Lawrence scored a rapid 63 off 33 balls before falling, while Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 27 off 13 balls, sealing the victory with a six off the last ball bowled by Wiese. Hermann finished unbeaten on 65*, guiding Royals to 191/4.
