ICC Rankings - Major Rise for Suryakumar, Abhishek Stays No.1

After a purple patch against New Zealand, India T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav has made a significant leap in the ICC T20I batters rankings, as reported by 8jjcricket. Following scores of 82 and 57 in the second and third T20Is respectively, Suryakumar has climbed five places to occupy the No. 7 position in the latest rankings.

Allrounders See Movement in ICC T20I Rankings

Indian allrounders have also seen notable movement. Hardik Pandya has risen one spot to become third among T20I allrounders, bolstered by four wickets in three matches against New Zealand and 142 runs across four matches against South Africa.

Another impressive jump came from Shivam Dube, who moved up six places to reach No. 11 in the allrounders list. Dube has taken three wickets in the ongoing series and hit a blistering 36 off just 18 balls in the second T20I.

Abhishek Sharma Continues to Dominate Batting Charts

Abhishek Sharma remains firmly at the top of the ICC T20I batting rankings. With innings of 84 off 35 balls and 68 off 20 deliveries against New Zealand, Abhishek now holds 929 rating points, leading second-placed Phil Salt by 80 points. Meanwhile, Tilak Varma, who will miss the entire five-match T20I series against New Zealand, remains at No. 3.

Bowlers and ODI Rankings Also See Changes

India’s Jasprit Bumrah has climbed four places to No. 13 among bowlers, following his match-winning 3-17 performance in the third T20I against New Zealand.

In ODI rankings, England players gained momentum after their 2-1 series win over Sri Lanka. Joe Root rose six places to No. 17, finishing the series as the top run-scorer with 247 runs. Harry Brook surged 28 spots to No. 11, contributing 184 runs in the series decider.

Leg-spinner Adil Rashid was also a key mover in the ODI rankings. With seven wickets at an average of 19.85, Rashid climbed six places to become No. 5 among ODI bowlers.
