ICC Rankings Update
India have retained their position at the top of the ICC Men's ODI Team Rankings following the latest annual update. Although their lead over New Zealand has narrowed, India continue to hold the number one spot with 118 rating points.
India Stay Ahead Of Rivals
The rankings update saw India slip by one point from 119 to 118, while New Zealand gained two points to move to 113. Despite the reduced gap, India remain firmly in control at the top of the ODI standings.
Changes In The Top Five
Australia continue to occupy third position with 109 points. The most significant movement among the leading teams saw South Africa climb above Pakistan into fourth place. South Africa now have 102 points, while Pakistan are fifth with 98 points.
Movement Across The Rankings
Elsewhere, Ireland moved ahead of Zimbabwe into 11th position. The USA climbed above Scotland to secure 13th place, while the United Arab Emirates overtook Canada in the lower half of the rankings table.
India Continue Global Dominance
India's position at the top of the ODI rankings reflects their sustained excellence in white-ball cricket. They also remain the top-ranked team in the ICC Men's T20I Rankings, while Australia continue to lead the Test rankings and both women's white-ball formats.
