India have retained their position at the top of the ICC Men's ODI Team Rankings following the annual update, though their lead over New Zealand has narrowed from eight points to five. India now have 118 rating points, while New Zealand have climbed to 113 after gaining two points.
India Continue To Lead World Cricket
The latest rankings update highlights India's continued consistency in ODI cricket. Despite a slight drop from 119 points, they remain the highest-ranked team in the format. New Zealand's improvement has reduced the gap, but India still hold a comfortable advantage at the summit.
Changes In The Top Rankings
Australia remain third in the standings with 109 points. The biggest movement in the top five sees South Africa overtake Pakistan to claim fourth position with 102 points, while Pakistan drop to fifth with 98 points.
Other Notable Changes
Further down the table, Ireland have moved ahead of Zimbabwe into 11th place. The USA have climbed above Scotland to occupy 13th position, while the United Arab Emirates have overtaken Canada in the rankings.
India also continue to lead the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings, while Australia remain the No.1 ranked Test side. Australia additionally hold the top position in both Women's ODI and Women's T20I rankings.
