Pakistan Names Saira Jabeen, Humna Bilal in Maiden T20I Squad

Pakistan has named uncapped batter Saira Jabeen and right-arm pacer Humna Bilal in the T20I squad for the upcoming South Africa tour. Captain Fatima Sana will lead Pakistan in both formats as the team gears up for the ICC Women's T20I World Cup in June.

The T20I squad features Fatima Sana (captain), Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza (wicket-keeper), Humna Bilal, Muneeba Ali (wicket-keeper), Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Sidra Amin, Tasmia Rubab, and Tuba Hassan. This marks a major milestone for Saira Jabeen and Humna Bilal, earning their first international call-ups in the T20I format.
ODI Squad and Key Returns
The ODI squad includes Fatima Sana (captain), Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Gull Feroza, Muneeba Ali (wicket-keeper), Najiha Alvi (wicket-keeper), Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, Syeda Aroob Shah, and Tasmia Rubab. Players like Ayesha, Gull, Tasmia, and Najiha Alvi return to the ODI squad after missing the ODI World Cup.
Tour Schedule and Training Camp
A pre-series training camp will be held at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi from 1–6 February. The T20I series will be held in Potchefstroom, Benoni, and Kimberley from 10–16 February with day-night matches. Pakistan will also play a 50-over warm-up match in Kimberley before the three-match ODI series from 22 February to 1 March in Bloemfontein, Centurion, and Durban.
