Sahil Lotra played a defining role in the Ranji Trophy triumph with a solid 72 in the first innings and an unbeaten century later in the match. His calm approach and disciplined batting allowed Jammu and Kashmir to extend their advantage against Karnataka. Captain Paras Dogra also played a key role with a steady 70, while Mayank Agarwal fought hard for Karnataka with a valiant 160. However, Auqib Nabi’s brilliant five-wicket haul dismantled the opposition’s middle order.

Jammu and Kashmir further strengthened their position before declaring at 342 for four in the second innings, thanks to Qamran Iqbal’s unbeaten 160. The massive overall lead ensured the Ranji Trophy title belonged to J&K as both captains eventually agreed to end the match. Shubham Pundir was named Player of the Match, while Auqib Nabi earned Player of the Series for his impressive haul of 55 wickets across the Ranji Trophy season.
