The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be held from 7 February to 8 March 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. India is placed in Group A alongside the USA, Namibia, Pakistan, and the Netherlands. The hosts will begin their campaign with four exciting group stage matches.

India’s second group match is against Namibia, a team that impressed during qualifiers. Playing in New Delhi provides a good opportunity for India to consolidate its position in the group.

Venue: R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, Sri Lanka

Perhaps the most anticipated match of the tournament is India vs Pakistan. Historically, matches between these two cricketing giants draw massive global viewership and are charged with intense rivalry. The fixture in Colombo promises a high pressure atmosphere as both teams look to top the group and head into the Super Eight stage on a strong note.

India vs England (2026 Tour)

After the T20 World Cup, Team India travels to England for a major bilateral series in mid 2026. The tour features 5 T20I matches and 3 ODIs, scheduled as follows,

• 1st T20I - 1 July 2026 - Riverside Ground, Chester le Street 

• 2nd T20I - 4 July 2026 - Old Trafford, Manchester 

• 3rd T20I - 7 July 2026 - Trent Bridge, Nottingham 

• 4th T20I - 9 July 2026 - Bristol County Ground, Bristol 

• 5th T20I - 11 July 2026 - The Hampshire Bowl, Southampton

This extended T20I series provides both teams with ample opportunity to test bench strength and playing combinations ahead of other future ICC events.

1st ODI - 14 July 2026 - Edgbaston, Birmingham 

2nd ODI - 16 July 2026 - Sophia Gardens, Cardiff 

3rd ODI - 19 July 2026 - Lord’s Cricket Ground, London
