Yashasvi Jaiswal has landed in controversy after reports claimed that the young India batter missed a mandatory anti-doping test conducted by NADA. The issue involving Yashasvi Jaiswal has raised serious questions as athletes in the registered testing pool are required to remain available during declared testing windows.                        

According to anti-doping procedures, Yashasvi Jaiswal was reportedly unavailable when officials arrived for out-of-competition testing. Authorities later contacted Yashasvi Jaiswal seeking clarification, but no official response was submitted within the expected period.

The case involving Yashasvi Jaiswal is currently being treated as a “missed test” under existing regulations. While this is only the first recorded failure for Yashasvi Jaiswal, repeated violations within a 12-month period could result in lengthy suspensions from professional cricket.

Officials have reportedly informed both the BCCI and ICC regarding the situation surrounding Yashasvi Jaiswal. The Indian opener now has a final opportunity to provide an explanation as Yashasvi Jaiswal aims to avoid further disciplinary complications ahead of upcoming international assignments.
